This Evening and Tonight:

England and Wales will have a dry and mostly clear night with a few mist patches forming. Turning rather chilly in a few rural areas. Meanwhile, cloud will increase from the northwest across Scotland and Northern Ireland, bringing some showers.

Thursday:

Cloud and showers, locally heavy, will move southeast across Scotland and Northern Ireland into northern England. Hot sunshine and isolated thunderstorms to the south, brighter, showery and cooler further northwest.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Scattered showers in the south at times, and a few further north, though a lot of dry weather for many with some sunshine. Temperatures dropping, becoming rather cool in places.
